A Sad Day

My Father passed away Saturday morning while in bed while we were here in Colorado.
He was a great guy and I will tell you more about him in an upcoming post, but for now it is good for us to know that all three of his sons and 6 of his seven grandchildren were here.
He told us that he was feeling better than he has in years and was very happy to see us all together when we got here.
I am glad we were here and will stay a little longer than we planned.

i have found an interesting trend with fellow believers as they go. God gives them a last period, a revitalized moment to say goodbye. christe and i are very sorry for you loss but also glad you had that one last opertunity with you father. blessings.

I found this to be very true of my mom as well. She had just recommitted her life to the Lord, was happier than she had been in years, and had just spent time with her loving parents the month prior to her accident.

I am so glad you guys were all there.

I hear there are lots of big dates this week, as well. Thinking of you...
